Email campaigns

  1. Build your audience. Two kinds: lists (fixed groups you fill on the Contacts page - bulk-select, the contact drawer, or CSV "Into list") and segments (live filters like "bought Product X", built on the Segments page). Deleting either never deletes contacts, and audiences used by a campaign can't be deleted until the campaign is.
  2. On the Contacts page, the Show filter includes "Not in any group" so you can find contacts that don't belong to any list yet. While that filter is active, an Add all to group bar lets you drop every ungrouped contact into a list in one click - handy after a CSV import done without a list.
  3. Create a campaign - name, subject, and pick the audience: any list or any segment. You'll see exactly how many will receive it before you save - unsubscribed and suppressed contacts are counted out up front.
  4. Send. Segments re-evaluate at send time, so a "Product X customers" campaign always reaches the current buyers. Personalization tags {{firstName}}, {{lastName}}, {{email}} are replaced per contact.

Built-in protections you don't have to think about:

  • An unsubscribe link is added to every email automatically (it's the law, and it protects your sender reputation). Unsubscribed contacts are skipped on all future sends.
  • Campaigns with spam-like content are held for review instead of being sent - you'll see exactly which phrases triggered the hold.

Monthly send allowance

Each plan includes a set number of emails per calendar month sent through our shared sending infrastructure: Starter 5,000 · Pro 25,000 · Business 75,000 · Agency 100,000. This pool is shared across every workspace in your organization and resets at the start of each month.

If a campaign would push you past the allowance, sending stops at the cap - the emails that fit go out, the rest don't, and the campaign can be sent again next cycle. Automations behave the same way: a send that's over the cap is skipped (the rest of the flow still runs) rather than failing the whole automation.

Need to send more? Connect your own email provider (Amazon SES, SendGrid, or Postmark) to send unlimited volume at your provider's cost, with your own sending reputation. (Per- workspace provider connection is on the roadmap; until it ships, contact support to raise your shared allowance.)
